Magnificent and ideal location just close to Connaught Village. Fine breakfast options with hash browns, bacon and also beans.

Poor breakfast.

the bathroom was new and renovated

we had a triple room and it was very small and dirty, stiky tables, blood on the curtains and dirt on the bed covers. old furtniture and room very run down. i wouldn´t recommend the hotel.

Bobby was brilliant, we was travelling with 2 ladies with learning disabilities, and bobby could not do enough to help us, offering us assistance all through our stay, highly recommend Barry house for where it is positioned, friendliness, breakfast is lovely and plenty of it, and the owners will ensure you have good stay, we booked for 3 weeks time but this time going with husbands

Booked a room on ground level. The breakfast was nice hot and fine with beans, hash browns, bacon and the atmosphere was family. The staff were excellent, they made me feel welcome. The hotel had a central location in a quite area...

Barry House was in an excellent location, very comfortable and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and I would definitely stay there again if I am in London :)

Location, very friendly and helpful staff.

Windows were impossible to close properly, hot water pipe leaking (housekeeping had just left a towel on the floor...), shower head broken and limed, mold in tile grouts in shower. No housekeeping first day. Breakfast served from 8:30 to 9:30 only. Free wi-fi coverage too poor to work (with cell phones). Wall right under the window was falling apart, window inside paint attacked by black fungus.

Location and breakfas was cooked fresh and good value for money

bad Sound-proofing equipment. sheets smells not very good.

Enjoyed our room that was freshly painted and clean and available with proper shower, shared bathroom plus free WiFi access. Everything was good, and the breakfast was warm at 730am.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the wi-fi, tv, and electric kettle. Staff helped with my late departure once. Highly recommend it for a stress-free weekend!

Excellent location appeared from website to be oldy-worlde b&b

Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, although son was helpful with suitcase on departure. No lift and difficulty getting bags to third floor with narrowing staircase. No help. Room facilities and furnishings were very old and some were stained, including bedding. Beds and pillows were lumpy. En-suite bathroom was moldy and tiny so everything got wet. Very noisy at night because window had to be kept open. No fan or airconditioner and very warm on third floor. Definitely not recommended.

Very good location, friendly staff. House is true English one. Bedlinen and bathroom was clean, although the room generally would have needed a painting.

Breakfast was too late for us with small kids, only one hour timeslot from 8.30. Although this was not an issue for us, for some people it could be useful to know that there is no elevator, staircase is very narrow.

Couldn't recommend more for a weekend pause

Clean room, friendly staff, with excellent Wi-Fi, made my stay comfortable and allowed easy planning for nearby attractions, with Paddington Station just a 3-minute walk away.
